What the card is
This is a 2025 Topps Dynasty Cal Ripken Jr. Dual Relic Autograph, a 1/1, with game-used patches, as described in the listing title. It is a one-of-one autograph card with two pieces of memorabilia, from Topps' ultra-premium one-card-per-box baseball product.
Why Topps Dynasty matters
Dynasty is built around one card per box. Each 2025 Topps Dynasty box delivers a single encased card: an on-card autograph patch, an autograph relic or a cut signature. Every card is sequentially numbered to 10 or less and features names from all-time legends to current stars. The 2025 checklist includes Autographed Dual Relic cards among its formats.
Because the whole box is one card, Dynasty autographs are bought as centerpiece pieces rather than as part of a set, and a one-of-one is the scarcest version a Dynasty card can be.
Why Ripken matters to collectors
Cal Ripken Jr. is baseball's "Iron Man." Starting on May 30, 1982, he played in 2,632 consecutive games through 1998, breaking Lou Gehrig's long-standing record of 2,130. He spent his whole 21-season career with the Baltimore Orioles. He won 1982 AL Rookie of the Year, then the 1983 AL MVP while helping the Orioles win the World Series. He was named AL MVP again in 1991, made 19 All-Star teams, and was a two-time All-Star Game MVP.
Ripken also changed what teams expected from a shortstop: a big, durable player who could hit for power. In 2007 he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame on his first ballot, named on 537 of 545 ballots (98.53 percent). For collectors he represents durability, loyalty to one franchise and a record that has stood for decades.
