Luka Doncic Rookie Cards: The High-End Buyer's Guide

Luka Doncic rookie cards from Prizm Silver to National Treasures and Flawless Logomans: record sales, PSA population data and what drives value.

Luka Doncic's 2018-19 rookie class produced one of the strongest modern card markets in basketball. It also shows clearly how much prices can swing. His top 1/1 has been reported at $4.7 million, while his National Treasures RPA lost about three-quarters of its value in one year. This guide walks through the Luka rookie cards that matter most, from accessible Prizm parallels to grail Logomans, using documented sales and population data.

2018-19 Panini Flawless Rookie Logoman Autograph 1/1

In October 2025, Sports Collectors Digest reported that this card sold privately for $4.7 million to the investor group of Kevin O'Leary, Matt Allen and Paul Warshaw. It is the most expensive Luka card on record.

2018-19 National Treasures Rookie Patch Auto Logoman 1/1

This is the card that made Luka a household name in the hobby. In early 2021, collector Nick Fiorello bought it for a reported $4.6 million, briefly the highest price ever paid for a basketball card. When it sold publicly through PWCC in November 2022, it brought $3.12 million, a drop of about $1.5 million in under two years (Beckett).

2018-19 Prizm Gold /10

In February 2021, a PSA 10 Prizm Gold, numbered to 10, sold for $799,500. Yahoo Sports noted at the time that there were only three PSA 10s and five graded copies in total.

2018-19 National Treasures RPA /99

This is the base rookie patch auto from National Treasures, with on-card autographs and multi-color patches. Its BGS 9.5 sales show how fast prices moved:

Graded Card Investor counted 83 Beckett-graded copies at the time: 36 BGS 9.5s, 38 BGS 9s and 8 BGS 8.5s, with none above 9.5.

2018-19 Flawless RPA /25

Flawless RPAs are numbered to 25. A BGS 9 sold for $114,000 in May 2022, and a BGS 9.5 brought $30,000 at Goldin in May 2023. Just 16 had been graded by BGS. See our Flawless guide.

2018-19 Prizm Silver #280

This is the most liquid high-grade Luka rookie. PSA had graded 5,174: 2,253 PSA 10s, 2,506 PSA 9s, and the rest PSA 8 or lower. Recent PSA 10 sales ran as high as $1,950 in January 2023 and around $1,200 by late 2023 (Graded Card Investor). Compare it with the Optic Holo in Prizm vs Optic.

Other notable Luka rookies

Graded Card Investor also tracked the 2018-19 Crown Royale Kaboom! insert. Only 8 PSA copies had been graded, 7 of them PSA 10s. Its PSA 10 peaked at $36,000 in December 2021, and one sold for $18,006 in October 2023. The Contenders Optic Rookie Ticket Auto brought $5,302 in PSA 10 in September 2023.

What Luka's Market Teaches High-End Buyers

1. Even 1/1s go through cycles

Luka's National Treasures Logoman fell from $4.6 million to $3.12 million, then a different Luka Logoman, from Flawless, reached $4.7 million in 2025. Card type, timing and the buyers in the market all mattered.

2. Population drives modern pricing

With more than 2,000 PSA 10 Prizm Silvers, supply is deep. That keeps prices accessible, but it also limits how high they can go. Low-numbered parallels such as the Gold /10 trade in a different tier.

3. Grade spreads can be huge

On the Flawless RPA, a BGS 9 brought more than a BGS 9.5 a year later. Timing can outweigh grade, so always compare sales from the same period.

4. Brand tier matters

National Treasures and Flawless are both ultra-premium, but they differ in print runs: /99 for the National Treasures RPA and /25 for the Flawless RPA. We compare them in National Treasures vs Flawless vs Immaculate.

Luka Rookie Cards by Budget Tier

  • Entry tier: base Prizm, Optic and Select rookies. PSA has graded tens of thousands of base Luka rookies, so supply is deep and price upside is limited.
  • Core tier: the Prizm Silver PSA 10 and Optic Holo PSA 10 sold for roughly $900–$2,000 in 2023. These are the most liquid "investment-style" Luka cards.
  • Upper tier: low-numbered colored Prizm parallels, Contenders autographs and case hits such as Kaboom!. Supply is thin, and prices move sharply on news.
  • Blue-chip tier: National Treasures RPAs (/99) and Flawless RPAs (/25), which have sold for roughly $30,000 to $266,400 depending on grade and timing.
  • Grail tier: the National Treasures and Flawless Logoman 1/1s, which trade between $3 million and $5 million in rare private and public deals.

How News Moves the Luka Market

Luka's rookie cards have reacted to almost every major event in his career, including MVP-level seasons, playoff runs and his February 2025 trade from Dallas to the Los Angeles Lakers. The general pattern applies to most modern stars. Liquid cards like the Prizm Silver PSA 10 move first and most often, because thousands of copies trade every year. 1/1s move rarely and in big jumps, because each sale resets the benchmark. If you own Luka's high-end cards, track the liquid cards for a quick read on sentiment. Price your 1/1s on the most recent comparable trades, not on short-term headlines.

How to Buy a High-End Luka Rookie

  1. Decide on your tier: Prizm Silver PSA 10, numbered Prizm parallels, National Treasures or Flawless RPAs, or 1/1s.
  2. Check population for your exact card and grade.
  3. Use recent comps. Prices from 2021 are not a good guide to today.
  4. For RPAs, look at the patch and autograph. Multi-color patches and clean signatures sell for more.
  5. Size the position sensibly. Luka's National Treasures RPA fell 75% in a year. Read investing in basketball cards before you commit serious money.
